About The role

Due to continued growth and in interest in our brand led experiential approach to experiential events, Nineyards would like to hear from talented, detail orientated designers with 3-5 years relevant professional experience to join our creative team.

The successful candidate will report directly to senior management and the design director and will have an unequalled opportunity to work with a team of cutting-edge, talented and like-minded individuals, in design led, experienced based events.

Some of the undertakings of the role will include:

  • Working with senior management and the creative team to interpret project requirements.
  • Understanding objectives clearly and responding quickly with loose ideas / sketches.
  • Taking Direction and adopting a iterative approach to design.
  • Creating high quality concept visuals, using sketching and/or 3d modeling techniques.
  • Developing and refining designs in preparation for production, utilizing 3d modeling and CAD software to produce detailed design specification documents as well as prototyping solutions where necessary.
  • Working with our in-house production team as well as external suppliers when required to develop and refine designs ensuring the original intent is maintained.
  • Delivering work on time and to a consistently high standard.

Requirements:

  • Recognised degree level qualification in Interior, Product or Industrial design.
  • Ideally 3-5 years design development experience, working on brand-led projects in a similar environment with in-house design and manufacturing facilities.
  • Self motivated with excellent all round communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate quickly and effectively through sketching.
  • Proficiency in the use of 2D and 3D design and visualisation software including experience in the use of Sketchup, this is a must and also Rhino 3D, AutoCad, Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator.
  • Ability to work as part of a flexible team, in a fast paced environment and to take direction while maintaining responsibility for individual tasks.
  • Ability to find simple solutions to complex problems.

The Ideal Candidate

Will be flexible, adaptable and happy to work in a constantly changing environment of new daily challenges.

The role will have client facing elements, so the candidate will need to be professional but friendly and approachable with the ability to work with others in a team.

The candidate will support delivery of goods and fitting/set up as per guidelines issued by the Installations Manager.

Be able to fully support the efforts of the Event teams, contributing to the successful execution of all projects assigned.

Participate in the hands-on production setup of events and other special projects as the business may require from time to time.

Ensure strict adherence to company policies such as adhering to health and safety policies regarding correct clothing an PPE where required.

Possess an excellent eye for detail on work as well as on-site details when projects are been installed and fitted to ensure we are meeting the clients brief at all times.

Support the safe return of goods after the team uninstall events and clearly identify goods as waste/re-use and, in the case of the latter, highlighting the need for any special wrapping/storage conditions/treatment’ of any items/pallets for re-use

 

Requirements:

  • The candidate needs to be confident and pro-active with strong communication skills.
  • The individual should be enthusiastic and self-motivated with the ability to work individually as well as being a team player.
  • Have the ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage all areas on-site for jobs assigned to you about the delivery of goods and fitting/set up as per guidelines issued by the project/production manager.
  • Manage project communications & delivery commitments on-site as per the Production/Project Managers
  • When not on-site carry out carpentry work in the workshop on projects assigned to you by the workshop or Production Manager.
  • Fully support the efforts of the Event teams, Project/Production/Lighting/Stage and audio contributing to the successful sales and execution of all projects assigned to you.
  • Assist with client correspondence and coordinate information between the install teams, clients and venues to ensure smooth execution of events and installations;
  • As needed, attend off-site client consultations, transcribe meeting details, and take measurements, photos of space as required by the Install/ Production Manager/Project Managers.
  • Assist with the coordination and booking of event logistics, time frames, and travel accommodations for destination events at home and abroad in conjunction with the Project Managers.
  • Participate in the hands-on production setup of events and other special projects as the business may require from time to time.
  • Ensure strict adherence to company policies such that all crew are wearing the correct PPE and site-specific workwear and using the correct equipment at all times while on-site. If anyone is not wearing the proper work gear/PPE and is a repeat offender, insist on correct wear or do not let them work on site. Report such incidents to the Installations/Production Managers and make notes of same.
  • Facilitate meetings and ongoing discussions with your crew throughout the lifecycle of the project keeping them fully up to date and aware of all planning.
  • Possess an excellent eye for detail on work carried out by you as well as on-site details when projects are been installed and fitted to ensure we are meeting the clients brief at all times.
  • Facilitate ongoing communication and reporting of on-site progress to the Installations /Production Manager and record and sign off on all TICK hours logged to that project by site crews who you are responsible for managing.
  • Manage specific areas of the project budgets and resources in conjunction with the Project Manager where requested.
  • Identification of areas for improvement and the proposal of creative solutions to improve these processes on-site and communicate same to the Installations Manager.
  • Where necessary to liaise with the client (end-user) to ensure project goals are achieved on-site.
  • Define internal resource requirements for the install team and assign & manage the distribution of tasks throughout the team.
  • Manage project schedules to plan and track project activities over the life-cycle of each project responsible fo full install and strip out duties.
  • Ensure at all stages of the project that relevant project learnings are collected and distributed through the necessary methods and communicated back to the team and Production Manager.
  • Be responsible for the safe delivery of goods after the team uninstall events and clearly identify goods as waste/re-use and, in the case of the latter, highlighting the need for any special wrapping/storage conditions/treatment’ of any items/pallets for re-use.
  • Mentor and train the site crew appointed to you and ensure they carry out their duties on-site safely and to a high standard.

About The role

We are seeking a driven and experienced candidate who will undertake all aspects of Bookkeeping & Accounting as well as reviewing and improving our current financial and commercial systems. The role reports directly to the COO.

Requirements:

  • Managing day-to-day bookkeeping and financial functions
  • Lead our accounting team and
  • Own the completion of the monthly Management Accounts in a timely manner.
  • Preparation & presentation of business performance to senior partners on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Preparation of management reports monitoring performance against annual budget and prior year
  • Assisting in annual budgeting and monthly forecasting
  • Control and forecast income and expenditure.
  • Produce annual accounts in management accounts format.
  • Full responsibility for P&L
  • Managing revenue reporting and analyses
  • Ensuring compliance with tax & regulations
  • Handle CAPEX processes and budgets.

Your Skills:

  • Qualified Accountant with prior experience in a Finance Function.

  • Industry experience is an advantage but not a requirement

We are looking for a qualified joiner with cabinet making experience who has a keen eye for detail and who works to a very high standard of workmanship.

Someone who is professional in their role but friendly and approachable with the ability to work with others in a team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of technical specifications of joinery and cabinet making products and tools.

Must-have requirements:

  • Fully qualified cabinet maker.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing and furniture installations.
  • The candidate needs to be confident and pro-active with strong communication skills.
  • Should have experience in edge-banding and wood machining.
  • The individual should be enthusiastic and self-motivated with the ability to work individually as well as in a team setting.

We are looking for someone with experience in museum and visitor attraction fit out projects with an emphasis on creative and bespoke, design led outcomes.

We’re looking for someone who possesses strong presentation skills with the ability to present both high level creative responses and overarching project plans at leadership level.

Requirements:

  • Experience in attraction fit out projects is essential.
  • The candidate must be able to direct the project management/design team, including motivation and professional development of the team through coaching, training and mentoring.
  • The candidate must able to present design led project plans and proposals at a leadership level.
  • Have the ability to evaluate project information, review all documentation, understand project brief, allocate workloads accordingly, agree on design/build programmes and cost parameters.
  • The candidate must have incredibly strong customer relations skills with the ability to prove this through strong references and face to face presentation skills.
  • Must be able to establish and maintain effective communication channels between all stakeholders during the proposal design and build stages.
  • The candidate should have 5-10 years fit out experience in a similar field and have solid project management skills.
  • The candidate needs to be confident and pro-active, with leadership and delegation being attributes that will be essential.
  • An ability to build and grow strong relationships with both customers and suppliers is an essential trait.
  • Liaise with procurement/manufacturing departments to ensure that necessary materials are procured on time and within budget.
