Emerging from a conversation between Jameson’s head distiller and the head brewer of Cork’s Franciscan Well Brewery, Jameson Caskmates has been finished in stout-seasoned whiskey casks and launched a new product line for the Jameson brand. Our task was to bring Caskmates to life in a fun engaging way that attracts the target audience to experience and learn about the brand and product.
With our previous knowledge of the brand our designers approached the brief in a way that created standout and impact in the high traffic surrounds of Dublin Airport’s Terminal 2. The concept centered around the tasting notes from the whiskey and we showcased these in our Caskmates Fridge where we built in a 3D hologram unit and showcased the tasting notes in a premium interactive form.
Over 5000 samples were consumed over the 4-week period with a sales spike around the activation dates. Additional traction was gained with our target market through our social media competition mechanic. The result was a happy client and a happy customer in the DAA!
